Bryce Appleby, Tasting Room Manager, and his team of Wine Educators will guide you through a seated tasting and Vineyard tour experience. You will taste 3 wines that have been exclusively sourced from Red Mountains top vineyards and obsessed over by their veteran Owner and Winemaker Charlie Hoppes and his team. Bring some comfy shoes and dress for warm  weather, Red Mountain is Washington State's warmest growing region.

Sarah Hedges Goedhart, Head Winemaker and James Bukovinsky, Vineyard Manager, will personally host our Vine Society group. During our visit we will enjoy special access to Hedges Family Estate vineyards and cellars, including a special barrel tasting. Our group will also have exclusive access to hand-picked members-only and library wines during the tasting and lunch pairing.

Col Solare Winery

June 16th 2021 @ 3:30pm

Head Winemaker, Darel Allwine will personally host our Vine Society group as we discover the facilities, vineyards and wine making processes that make Col Solare so special. The tour will include background on the partnership between Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and the Antinori family, general information about the Red Mountain AVA and specifics about the Col Solare vineyard. Darel will lead the group through the cellar and barrel room and speak to his unique winemaking practices. Following the tour, a flight of two ounce pours of three Col Solare wines will be offered for your enjoyment.

Vine Society Concessions:  $10 shipping 2nd Day Air for all wines purchased during the visit. Col Solare extends a special 20% discount offer to Vine Society members that join their club during the visit.

Katie Vipond, Wine Club Manager who has experience in wine production, vineyard and hospitality will host the Vine Society Group with special appearances from Director of Winemaking & Partner, Jean- Françcois Pellet. During the visit Katie will provide us with an understanding of the wines produced in the Walla Walla Valley by enjoying special access to members-only limited production wines sourced from single estate vineyards.

Saviah Cellars

Richard Funk, Owner and Winemaker, will be our group’s host. The Vine Society Group will do a tour of Saviah Cellars’ facilities including a special barrel tasting. In addition, we will take a short drive to the winery’s Estate Vineyards in the acclaimed The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater. You will learn what makes the wines from this unique terroir so special while sampling wines that were produced from these cobbly soils.

Vine Society Concessions: 20% Discount on all purchases. Complimentary shipping on case orders (12 bottles per case). $15 per box shipping on orders less than 12 bottles.

Valdemar

Valdemar Estates

June 17th 2021 @ 1:30pm (Lunch)

Jesus Martinez Bujanda, Owner and 5th Generation Winemaker, will personally host the Vine Society Group. During our visit we will enjoy special access to Valdemar’s vineyards and cellars, including an exclusive barrel tasting. Our group will also have access to taste members-only limited allocation wines including some of their iconic Spanish wines. The group will enjoy lunch at Valdemar’s private dining room on their beautiful scenic balcony. Lunch will be paired with a hand-picked selection of their Spanish and Washington wines.

L'Ecole 41

L’Ecole’s Winemaker, Marcus Rafanelli will lead our Vine Society group through an intimate tour of L'ecole facilities for an up-and-close look at their production, including an exclusive barrel sampling. This will be followed by a hand-picked wine line-up in the lawn area for a casual tasting and presentation of the valley and the winery while entertaining our questions.

​

Vine Society Concessions: All participants will receive a souvenir magnet from L’Ecole. All Vine society group members will receive a flat $10 shipping rate per 6-bottle purchase.  In addition, our guests will enjoy a 10% discount on merchandise or bottle purchases, and 15% for any purchase of 6+ bottles.

Woodward Canyon

Rick and Darcey Small, Owners and Winemakers will take us on an intimate journey through the magic of their historic winery in the Walla Walla Region. Our Vine Society group will have exclusive access to their cellars and enjoy a handpicked wine flight in their Reserve House Building. Rick and Darcey will share their story and what makes Woodward Canyon wines special.

Vine Society Concessions: All Vine Society guests will enjoy an Industry-Exclusive discount of 20% on all bottle purchases.  Rick and Darcey have also extended a special offer of free shipping on purchases of 6 bottles or more.

Reininger Winery

June 18th 2021 @ 2:30pm 

Brad Korte, Tasting Room Manager, will be the host and educator for the experience. The tour will involve a winery walkthrough, special edition wine tastings, barrel room tour and tastings, and small bites made for Vine Society guests. You will learn about Walla Walla and Columbia Valley wines, winemaking practices, and what makes Reininger Winery wines unique.

We invite you to enjoy the Main Street Farmers Market from 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Derrek Vipond, Winemaker at Walla Walla Vintners will personally host the Vine Society Group. During our visit we will enjoy special access to Walla Walla Vintners vineyards and cellars. Our group will also enjoy some of Walla Walla Vintners current release wines with single vineyard designations and small production wines.

Vine Society Concessions: Walla Walla Vintners will offer our Vine Society group free shipping on case purchases. In addition, they will offer library samples and complimentary snacks.

Abeja Winery

June 19th 2021 @ 1:45pm (Lunch) 

Jordan Hostetter, Direct to Consumer Manager, will personally host the Vine Society Group. Our visit will begin with a tasting and tour, where we will enjoy special access to Abeja’s vineyards, production facilities and cellars, including an exclusive barrel tasting. During the tour, our group will taste members-only limited allocation estate wines including some of their iconic Heather Hill wines. Prior to the tour and tasting, the group will enjoy lunch at Abeja’s new state of the art production facility. Lunch will be paired with a selection of Abeja’s hallmark wines.

Vine Society Concessions: Abeja Winery has upgraded our tasting to an Estate Tasting, carefully selecting their most limited member only wines for our group’s tasting line-up, along with a selection from the Abeja Library. All on site wine purchases of six bottles or more will receive complimentary shipping.

Hattaway's On Alder

Farewell Dinner

June 19th 2021 @ 6:30pm 

Richard and Lindsey Hattaway will host our group with a special Aged Ribeye Menu and some of the dishes that have made them famous. Every course of this family style dinner has been carefully paired with some of Washington's most iconic wines. If you haven't tasted the members-only Leonetti and Cayuse wines, you do not want to miss this dinner!

 

Inspired by the local ingredients of the Pacific Northwest, Hattaway’s on Alder brings the cooking traditions of the Southeast and rural America to downtown Walla Walla, Washington.  Honest food with the charm of Southern hospitality.
