Founder
Mariano Doble
Mariano J. Doble is the founder and CEO of Vine Society, a vibrant wine community designed to help enthusiasts connect, learn, and share through approachable wine-centric experiences. He launched the venture during the COVID-19 pandemic to offer master classes, travel experiences, and exclusive wine tastings led by industry professionals.
Alongside his wife, Caroline, he also owns and operates the Davidson Village Inn, where he serves as proprietor and host for Vine Society gatherings. Grounded in a philosophy of servant leadership, Doble uses his role as a natural connector to bring people together over fine wine, education, and genuine hospitality.
Through Vine Society, he fosters an inclusive environment that welcomes wine lovers of all skill levels.

Sales & Events Manager
Rodger Clark
Rodger Clark is an experienced fundraising professional who most recently served as Director of Development for the Cain Center for the Arts in Cornelius, NC. Before that, he spent over 12 years as Director of Philanthropy for WDAV Classical Public Radio 89.9 FM, building on three decades of development work with organizations such as the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and Church World Service.
He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, as well as a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Clark served nine years across active duty and reserves, attaining the rank of Captain.
He currently resides in Mooresville, NC, with his wife, Karen, with whom he shares two grown sons and several grandchildren.
