The Best of  Willamette's Wine Country Lifestyle

The Atticus Hotel has grown from the roots of the McMinnville community in Oregon. Partners Erin Stephenson & Brian Shea started chasing the dream of creating a small, independently owned and operated luxury hotel in their hometown with the launch of a boutique lodging company in 2010. Their first brand, 3rd Street Flats—a fusion lodging concept blending the best aspects of hotels, B&Bs, and vacation rentals—won rave reviews from guests out of the gate, and now has two locations in Historic Downtown McMinnville. Opening in the spring of 2018, the Atticus Hotel tells the story of what it is to be a part of Oregon Wine Country. With a location in the heart of one of Oregon’s most iconic historic towns, an emphasis on featuring local artisans, and a deep seeded knowledge that true luxury is defined by the intent behind every decision, guests at the Atticus Hotel enjoy the best of a wine country lifestyle.

June 5th, 2022 - Welcome Dinner 6:30pm

Let's Kick Off our Willamette adventure with dinner at Stoller Family Estate. Bill Stoller's father and uncle purchased this beautiful farm in 1943 to raise turkeys. In 1993 Bill had a vision that stemmed from much more than wishful thinking. With knowledge from his investment in Chehalem, and the help of Burgundian winemaker Patrice Rion and local vineyard consultants, Bill confirmed that the very factors that made this land a poor choice for traditional crops made it perfect for an award-winning vineyard. The team at Stoller is looking forward to hosting our Willamette travel experience with an amazing meal paired with their extraordinary wines!

Join the Bryn Mawr team and owner Jon Lauer for an insider’s overview of Bryn Mawr’s history and wines (no tour). Hospitality Director Karyn Howard Smith will lead us in a private tasting experience that will take our tasting skills to the next level with a black glass tasting. Ever heard of it? Most people have not! A black glass removes trusted visual cues and puts your nose to the ultimate test. You will be served pre-poured reds and whites at the same temperature in the same glasses, leveling the playing field. You may be shocked, or you may be validated, but you'll definitely be surprised.

5 Minute Walk from The Atticus Hotel

Let's gather one last time before we head back home at the iconic La Rambla Social Room. A few minutes walk from The Atticus hotel right in the McMinnville Historic Downtown District. The Social Room is housed in a historic space that first housed McMinnville's original Gem Saloon in the 1800s. The La Rambla restaurant is located next door in the Schilling building, the oldest brick building in McMinnville built in 1884. Both buildings have been beautifully renovated. The team at La Rambla is looking forward to hosting Vine Society for a special dinner including some iconic Willamette wines as well as some of their Spanish Faves.

La Rambla has been a consistent winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence from 2008 to 2021.
