With a gratitude-filled heart, we celebrate the 2021 vintage as the best vintage we have seen in Santa Barbara County. A truly divine growing season was enjoyed by all the sites we work with here, thus making this one special bottling indeed. She is our ninth vintage of Tuesday night grace, and combines a magical six sites in the place we call home.
Representing vastly different expressions within this climate: the Highlands with her 3200 feet elevation extremity and wide open skies (Alban and Noir clones), the Vie Caprice vineyard with 5’ x 4’ spacing amidst Santa Ynez horse country, an organically farmed haven in Ballard Canyon, and our favourite neighbour: Thompson Vineyard in our home town of Los Alamos..
18% whole-cluster, 11 months in neutral barrique and puncheon, racked once and bottled under an Aries moon.
