Store Policy

We love hosting you in The Cellar in the Davidson Village Inn. Our events are small, and we buy wine and plan seating for each confirmed guest, so here's how reservations work.

 

Who can attend. All guests must be 21 or older. Please bring a valid photo ID.

 

Free events. Free tastings just need an RSVP to save your seat. Seats are limited; when an event is full, you can join the waitlist on the event page and we'll let you know if a spot opens. If you can't make it, please cancel your RSVP so someone on the waitlist can come.

 

Paid events. The price and what it includes are listed on each event page. Some events list a per-person fee plus shared wine costs and applicable taxes. Paid events are charged after the event.

 

Reminders. Members receive reminder emails 10 days and 3 days before each event they're registered for.

 

Cancelling a paid event.

- You may cancel a paid event at least 10 days before the event, and you won't be charged.

- Cancellations within 10 days of the event, and no-shows, are charged in full.

- To cancel, call (704) 892-8044 or email info@vinesociety.com.

 

Sending someone in your place. Can't make it? You're welcome to send a friend (21+) in your place. Just tell us their name before the event.

 

If we change or cancel an event. Occasionally a speaker, wine, or date changes. If we cancel a paid event, you won't be charged. If we reschedule, we'll contact you to confirm whether you can attend the new date.

 

Private and corporate events follow the terms in your event proposal or agreement.

 

Wine travel trips have their own booking terms, which we share before you book.

 

We may refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or is disruptive.
