After a hot 2015, 2016 was a return to an optimal vintage. The growing season was a bit cooler, allowing perfect grape hang time and ripeness. This Cabernet exhibits a wine of incredible depth and grace. The aromas bring immediate appeal, with notes of dried herb, barrel spice, and black fruit. Rich but well-balanced fruit flavors follow along with a lengthy finish. It has an excellent yum factor. Ready in 2024 but some time in the cellar will be rewarded.
