The 2017 Lions de Batailley has a pretty bouquet with blackberry, mint and cedar aromas that demand some coaxing from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannins. Very smooth thanks to that sheen of vanillary new oak that should subsume with time. This could turn out quite seductive
