Looking for an underrated Cabernet from a great Vintage at an even better value, here you go!

Drink now through 2030. 3,500 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.

2016 was an incredible year for Cabernet Sauvignon in Barrosa Valley, which deliered wines with great concentration. The warm dry Autumn was ideal  for allowing the Cabernet grapes to reach optimal maturity, allowing the softening of tannins.

The final wine is deep purple in color, with aromas of blackberry, cassis, and beetroot. It is a full-bodied wine with flavors of red berries, beetroot, and chocolate. Drink now or cellar confidently for 10–15 years from vintage.

Mahogany and truffle touches complement the ripe and plush core of plum and blueberry flavors. Displays an air of effortlessness, even with the dusty tannins filling in on the finish. - Wine Spectator

A blend of fruit from Nuriootpa (75%) and Eden Valley (25%), the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon features lovely varietal aromas of mint, tobacco and cassis. Full-bodied but firm and slightly austere, it does turn silky on the finish. Fine with steak now, it should age well for over a decade. - Wine Advocate
